If you are missing a tooth or suffer from the pain and embarrassment of loose dentures, dental implants can restore your confidence and ability to enjoy eating again.  Implants stimulate the bone like natural teeth do and maintain the skeletal structure of the jaws and face.  Anyone who has ever had the unfortunate experience of losing a tooth knows that the area of the ridge that had the tooth withers and atrophies after a period of time.  Implants can prevent it!  In most other dental offices, full service implant care is not available, .  If you need an implant, patients are typically referred out of the office to see an oral surgeon, or a periodontist, or endodontist who then surgically places the implant.  They then are referred either to a third office to have the prosthesis (tooth or teeth) made that fits on the implant(s) or back to the original office.  It is very important that the two offices correlate their care and treatment plans effectively or complications can arise in the final results for the patients. In our office, we take you step by step through the entire procedure from initial treatment planning, to surgical placement and uncovery and to final prosthesis without the need to visit multiple offices.
